The athletic program of St. Joseph Parish exists to provide all children of our parish the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in various sports. The focus of the program is to provide a Christian atmosphere in which the individual child can develop to his/her full potential, while learning the value of team work and good sportsmanship. Currently our athletic program includes Football, Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, Girl's Volleyball and Track & Field.

Baseball

K-8 grades, boys and girls teams participate in the Sylvania Recreation League. See Sylvania Recreation for details.
Evaluations and team formations take place in April. Practices start end of April, beginning of May. There is also a 4th - 8th grade boys fall baseball league. Contact coordinator Ryan Smith for additional information.

Basketball

K - 8th grade boys and girls can participate in basketball. For more information contact Randy Okuley or Tom Hurley.

Men's Basketball - 30 years and older; Sunday nights, 6-8 p.m., from October through April. Contact Jeff Seemann - (419) 882-0661 for more information.

Cross Country

K - 8th grades, boys and girls can participate in CYO cross country. See CYO for details and permission forms. Contact coordinator Sean Savage for additional information.

Football

3rd - 6th grade flag football is available through Sylvania Recreation. See Sylvania Recreation for details. 5th - 8th grade boys tackle football is available through CYO from Aug-Oct. Track
