CLOW is for children ages 5-7.  Just before the Liturgy of the Word children will be invited to come forward and go with adult facilitators into the Daily Mass Chapel to hear and process the readings at their level.  Children will return to their parents after the homily.  All children ages 5-7 are welcome to attend!

Introducing Bloom!   Children Ages 4-7 Are INVITED!

Bloom is a ministry for children ages 4-7.  This program is a summer camp that will harness the enthusiastic faith of a child and hopefully cultivate a strong fruitful faith for years to come!

Meet Miss Allison!

I would like to introduce Miss Allison who will be working with me in the Office of Youth Catechesis and Formation to plan events for our parish children in the preschool and primary grades.

Allison comes to us from St. John the Baptist Parish in Point Place.  She is graduating from the University of Toledo this winter with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Allison has been a first-grade catechist for St. Joseph parish over the last two years.  I am thrilled that she will be expanding her role with us this upcoming year!

Allison will be the lead teacher for our Sunday School Program.  In addition, she will be running some special programming for our preschool and primary aged parish children throughout the year.  Allison is also in training for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program and she will serve as the Lead Catechist for that Program when it is introduced to the parish in the summer or fall of 2018!  Read More!

Anointed will be meeting Saturday, November 17!  Register by using this LINK.  For those of you new to the parish, Anointed is a ministry open to all high school students.  The day begins at 9:00 at St. Joes in the West Meeting Room.  You will go out and serve food at the Downtown Community Picnic and return to St. Joes for discussion and lunch.  Pick up is 1:00.  Bring a friend!  We hope to see you there! Call the Office of Youth Catechesis and Formation at 419-885-2181 with questions.

"Our Catholic Family" faith sharing discussion group
