Tuesday: The Chrism Mass in Rosary Cathedral at 11:00 a.m.

Holy Thursday: Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7 p.m. with Adoration until midnight (Night Prayer at 11:45pm)

Good Friday:

-Stations of the Cross at 12:00 noon

-Passion Liturgy at 3:00 p.m.

-Stations and Veneration of the Cross at 7:00 p.m.

Holy Saturday:

-Blessing of the Easter Food at 2:00 p.m.

-Easter Vigil at 8:30 p.m.

Easter Sunday of the Resurrection Masses:

-7:30am, 10:00am and 12:00 noon

Fast and Abstinence Practice
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of abstinence from meat and days of fast, that is limited to a single full meal.

The law of abstinence binds all Catholics 14 years and older. The law of fasting binds all Catholics from their 18th birthday until their 59th birthday (Canons 97 and 1252)

The other Fridays of the season of Lent are days of abstinence from meat.

People should seek to do more rather than less. Fast and abstinence on the days prescribed should be considered a minimum response to the Lord's call to penance and conversion.
